Ram wont run at 1T

I can't get my ram to run at 1T. My specs:

Abit IP35 Pro
Q6600 g0 @ stock
Corsair XMS2 CAS5 DDR-800
9600gt

I have everything set to auto except the timing which is set to 1T. CPU-Z reports it as 1T. The memory is running at 3:2 by default. I tryed running it at 1:1 and 1T but CPU-Z still showed 1T and windows crashed soon after. Should I try to manually enter all of the timings? Thanks

I got that same RAM, and running the low latency one, which has timings 4-4-4-12 2T and cant push it to 1T without it freezing or hanging.

Why is that and must i maybe push higher voltage than 2.1V?

1T is too unstable in fast memory clock speeds... The only time I see a memory runnning at 1T was a DDR-800 clocked around a 533...

t1 is a funky setting that does have an impact on memory bandwidth but also has a much more serious impact on stability. Its possible - and from what i've heard common - that the majority of intel chipsets don't like T1 - that being the case its your chipset and not the memory with the problem with t1

I've been playing with my 650i Nvidia chipset long enough to know it does t1 just fine but usually nothing above 700mhz. The difference you're likely to see if you do get it to run at t1 but leaving everything else auto is negligible. Doesn't sound like you over clock much or at all so leave it all on auto and don't worry about this headache *that trust me is more likely one you can't fix*

Interesting - I set my BIOS to 1T, but my CPUz reports 2T. (Same motherboard.) Marked for solutions!

Running BIOS v16. I manually set: 2.1 volts, 1:1 ratio, 4-4-4-12 settings. (CAS4 version of your RAM)
