whats the difference between

Corsair 1GB PC 3200 2-64x64 XMS Dual-Channel DDR - #TWINX1024-3200C2PT - Lifetime Warranty
and
Corsair 1GB PC3200 2-64x64(2x512MB) XMS DDR Memory - #TWINX1024-3200XL

they have a $100 difference in price tags at Fry's (the online store is always cheaper. at Fry's, its 129 and 229 respectively)

i mean, should i spend more money on the ram, or upgrade some other part?

The cheaper ones have different timings (higher).

These sticks are better for the same price.
