RAM Weirdness on P4 Celeron

Greetings all, everything works perfect but I'm having an issue I was wondering if somebody could shed some light on.

I have this motherboard:
FIC VC19E+

And I have this ram:
Corsair CMX512-2700C2 (PDF)

The board only lets me set it up like a DDR266 module and that's how it recognizes it. Though I thought it was a DDR333 module...... The processor on this rig is a Celeron 2.2Ghz.

According to the board it takes up to PC2700 mem, that's I thought the fastest the board would take. Anyhow just looking for any suggestions if there by any. Thanks!

I should also note, I've never overclocked anything before and since I have no experience with O/Cing I always leave various BIOS settings such as FSB, PCI speeds alone. I'm guessing this is my problem but if somebody could steer me in the right direction for setting the BIOS up properly I'd appreciate it. I'd hate to screw it up and kill this PC. It's just a "work" pc and doesn't play games. I've got another rig for that.
