RAM useage... doubled?

I built my system in December and since then the RAM useage has always been in the 1.7-2.0GB range under normal useage. Now, all of a sudden, my RAM useage will be in the upper 3GB range even when I don't have any programs open and running (besides the stuff running in the background like MSE, etc.)

My basic use hasn't changed, I haven't installed any new programs. Just curious.

In Task Manager, can you see any particular programs using a lot of RAM?

(click 'show processes for all users' to see everything)

Since I built mine in 2010, Win7 64 HP, I haven't seen much variation in memory usage, idle or under my average applications load. I remember a short period where it was using about 300MB more than I expected but that seems to have calmed back down. With Firefox and Thunderbird open at the moment, it's using 945MB according to Task Manager/Process Explorer. 4GB RAM total.
