Can i upgrade my laptop memory from 8gb to 16gb.

The following link, seems to say that 8 Gb is the maximum (2 slots).

There is still a slight possibility that you can do 16 Gb, but if you can, someone else will have to tell you how. (i.e. rarely the maximum specified CAN be increased, but often NOT).

This seems to say NO

Mentions 16 Gb, then says NOT possible

Sorry No! (as far as I can tell).

It seems to support a maximum TOTAL of 8Gb.
= 2 slots with 4 Gb in each. (4 Gb + 4 Gb = 8 Gb).

check for a bios update that could possibly enable support for larger chip sizes......

Sell your current RAM and buy 8*2 sticks. Dual Channel
