Ram Upgrade

I just upgraded my system to a AMD X2 3800 and have one gig of
ram currently(4 sticks of 512 PC 3200). I was thinking about grabbing 2 one gig sticks but I was wondering if I should get faster ram for a future AMD processor or will AMD be going to the next version of DDR by the time I need to upgrade.

Doesn't seem right... 😛 No, the standard DDR PC3200 will do just fine, so if you'd take 2 gigs, surely take twice a 1 gig stick... It can save you a lot of hassle...

You're true about AMD going to switch to DDR2 and Socket AM2, but S939 still will stay for a long time... It's no wasted money...
