This is my current setup:
Athlon 2500+ Barton @ 2.2GHZ/400MHz FSB
1024MB (2x 512MB) PC3200 Geil Value RAM (no idea of the timings, they aren't matched)
Asus A7N8X
ATI X850XT AGP
I notice that BF2 is still a little choppy, and I heard that getting 1.5 or 2.0GB might alleviate this, as otherwise my system is capable of handling BF2 (I know that the CPU isn't exactly up to spec, but it can still cut the mustard).
I still have one slot available for RAM on my motherboard, so shall I put in a 1gb or 512mb stick? Do I have to worry about timings? Would I be messing up my dual channel? What else do I have to think about?
Thanks!
