RAM Upgrade Question

Hi guys - Can you please advise me on the specifics of a RAM upgrade.

I have a ECS 965T-A revision b Motherboard that I would like to upgrade the memory on.

The current RAM is 1.8volts and PC4200. The manual states it can have PC6400 (800mhz).

My question is on the voltage. Do I have to get 1.8v ram? Or can i get RAM that runs at a different voltage of like 2.2 for example.

I'd like to upgrade to a couple Gbs of fast ram - but I'm very limited if I have to stay at 1.8volts.

Also , assuming I can upgrade to different voltages - can I have some opinions on best bang for buck quality ram? I'd like to stay around $100 for 2 GB of ram.

Thank you for any help on the voltage question 🙂
