Ram Upgrade or is it hopeless

I'm thinking about ordering the crucial 256 meg, CL2.

right now i have 1*128 133, 1*63 133, or so they both state at CL3

i have a kt7-raid
and a duron 750 oc'd to 950

9 X FSB 105

will this ram help at all, or am i doomed not to hit a gig being stable!?

i don't think having that ram would help in your oc-ing quest...

The RAM will not help you reach 1G, but get Crucial PC133 CAS3 and run it at CAS2. With the memory at 133 CAS2 you will have a slight performance increase (And 99.9% of all Crucial CAS3 RAM--including my year-old CAS3@100MHz stick--will do CAS2@133MHz), and given the cost of RAM right now, you can't go wrong (even if it continues to drop, you have to admit these are some of the sweetest RAM prices ever).
