Hi, I am thinking about upgrading my ram. Would this ram (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ductPromotions) be compatible with my system? Would I be able to simply plug it into the motherboard without tempering with my existing ram? Also, if there are any other rams that is more cost-efficient, please let me know! Thank you.

When adding memory "cost-efficient" shouldn't the main concern, compatibility should be.
Your best bet for compatibility with your current memory is to install THIS G.Skill 8GB kit to get your total up to 12GB.

Yeah . . . in his case, I wouldn't even try to mix the existing GBRL's with the Samsungs. It doesn't look as though the SPD specs overlap at the same speed. For the money, choosing other than -GBRL's doesn't make any sense.
