a friend of mine is interested in getting a small upgrade for his dell. it only has 128 megabytes of ram in it, and it has been running rather badly out of the box. so he's interested in a RAM upgrade.
according to cpuid, the current ram he has is kingston pc2700. but it's at 133 mhz instead of 166mhz. would he be able to just buy a new stick of kingston ddr pc2100, stick it in there, and have it work? or is there something on dells that would limit upgradeability?
