RAM type help.

Hi, I'm hoping I posted this in the right section.. Couldn't see any other section that would fit the topic best. But anyway...

A friend of mine is looking to upgrade his RAM. It's an older Celeron or P2 300mhz (some benchmarks reported processor type differently for some reason) with 64 mb RAM. However I'm not exactly sure the type, whether it be PC66/100 or something else I haven't thought of. It's made by a small local company who since then, went bankrupt. I'm also not too sure on the make of the motherboard. Any suggestions on the RAM?

At that time, celerons were generally running PC66. What you can do to be sure is to install some backwards compatible PC100.
