I just got some geil ram which is pc3200 and is a 1 gig stick and i was wondering how will it effect the performance of my computer? currently i have 2x256, running dual channel and my fsb is overclocked and i have manually changed the timings of the ram in the bios! noe im wondering if u put this third stick in of 1 gig ram, will the timings be affected on all the ram sticks? do i need to change each stick sepearely, and also wwhat would be best, running 512(dual channel 2x256) or just a 1gig stick runing single channel? thanx for all your help!!!
