Ram Timings?

I have 4 512MB sticks of OCZ PC3200 Platinum Dual channel EL ram. The ram says it's "2-2-2-5" What do those numbers equate to in the BIOS? I have an A8N-SLI mobo. I had to set the speed manually because the board detected it as DDR333 -apparently this is normal when you have all four slots occupied. There are more settings in BIOS than the ram is listed as.

Thanks,

Rich

Hi, welcome to the forums

Have you updated to the newest BIOS yet? Not that it matters if everything is running ok, but there might me more mem config options once you do. Personally I just set mine to "Aggressive" and leave it at that. I might also consider tweaking my ram timings a bit since it is only running at 166mhz - I'll keep an eye on this thread and wait for some expert advice too.

Those numbers are your memory timings, simply set in your bios the corresponding numbers on your memory.
They are the:

CAS - 2
tRCD - 2
tRPD - 2
tRAS - 5

timings. Those are excellent memory timings so leave them at that if it runs.
