I have two sticks of Corsair TwinXMS 1 gig DDR-400 in my rig. I have been running them on AUTO timings for months. SPD is 3-3-3-8. They were running at SPD, and I expected they would keep running at SPD. However, happened to open CPU-Z today and noticed it reported timings of 3-4-4-9.

I popped into the BIOS and sure enough, AUTO is now setting my ram to 3-4-4-9.
What gives?
