I have an Abit NF7-S 2.0 and 1GB Kit HyperX DDR 400MHz. I've been trying to figure out the whole timing thing so I can make my machine run as stable and fast as possible. Kingston says that the ram timing is 2-3-2-6-1 at +2.6V and I have no idea what those numbers mean.

I do know though that my ABIT board will allow me to modify the following 4 Settings

Row-active delay: 1-15
RAS-to-Cas delay: 1-7
Row-precharge delay: 1-7
CAS Latency Time: 2.0, 2.5, 3.0

Any information to shed some light on these settings is most welcome!

HELP! I tried those settings and now my system wont boot (I'm using my fileserver ATM).
These were the default settings.

Row-active delay :8
RAS-to-CAS: 3
Row-precharge: 3
CAS: 2.5

These are what I tried yesterday and seemed to run fine

Row-active delay :6
RAS-to-CAS: 3
Row-precharge: 2
CAS: 2

and now that i've tried

Row-active delay :6
RAS-to-CAS: 2
Row-precharge: 3
CAS: 2

my system wont boot! =[

Ok, so I changed the timings back to what I had yesterday. But by what that guide says they should be what you suggested Ribbon.
