i have a noob question...

I have OCZ (2 x 1GB) DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 PC 3200 Platinum in a dual channel on an ASUS A8N-SLi mobo

lots of people talk about:
@ XXXMHz 2.5-3-2-5 or 2-3-2-5

I wasn't quite sure what that stood for. My guess is that they belong to the BIOS timings, but do they line up with the latency numbers going down?

also, what is a nice mild overclock and voltage i can run these at?

all comments are welcome as i have NEVER had this nice of ram and i need advice...

They are BIOS settings.

CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS

for you it would be

2-3-2-5

As for OCing 2-3-2-5 is already damn fast. I would let it go at that. 2-2-2-5 is the fasteat I have ever seen RAM.

Ive seen cas 1. For real. Some nasty timings they were. I believe at DDR400...
