RAM Testing software- McAfee's DiscoverPro vs. Simmtester's DocMemory.

Both of these tools take ages to complete their tests, but for some reason they produce different results.

DiscoverPro found a couple of new Micron DIMMs to be faulty, but for some reason DocMemory judged one of them to be just fine.

Does this imply that the latter has tolerances that are more forgiving?
The store?s salesperson told me that they do not use DiscoverPro because it *always* finds errors, no matter what and that this must mean that it is not accurate.
My personal experience is different. DP does find many errors but there were a few cases where it found none.

What is your take?

I can't comment on these two packages but I posted a similar thread yesterday after Norton failed to identify some bad RAM which I had acquired.

Check this thread out because some other RAM testing software was suggested to me.
