RAM suggestions for the IWILL KK266 mobo please.

I bought two 256mb of the Crucial CAS2 PC133. It will do up to 154 or so @ cas 2 with all the memory tweaks, and up to 168 or so with all the tweaks @ cas3. Check my sig..

Why are you buying SDRAM with a DDR mobo?

Crucial CAS=2.5 DDR PC2100 or Corsair CAS=2 DDR PC2100

This isn't a tough decision....if you don't want DDR Ram then just keep your KT7!

Ummm..I think you are confused. The Iwill KK266 is a KT133A based SDRAM motherboard. The Iwill KA266 is the Ali based DDR motherboard....

Thanks guys. I just want a better system to last me for awhile until dual cpu support is out for AMD and is stable. I have seen the reviews of the full DDR ALI chipset and it performs lower than the DDR FSB\SD mobo. thats why I want to upgrade.

Ok then let me rephrase my question....why are you buying the KK266 and not the KA266??

DDR is out. It's cheap. It's faster.
