Ram & SSD for new gaming rig

Here's a rig I'm building for gaming..
Processor: Phenom X4 955
mobo: Asus 785
GPU: Sapphire 5850
System HD: PQI 64GB SSD
Ram: Corsair Dominator 4GB


Two questions:

A) Is that SSD reliable? I like it because it has a usb connection and can be used as a flash drive if needbe (like after it's out of date, and I've upgraded I can get an enclosure for it). In the meantime though is PQI a reliable brand?
B) Is the RAM overkill for the rest of the system?

I got the new x4 965 125w. Get that if you haven't yet placed the order. Slightly more than 955 but can oc to 4gig+
