Is there a way this can be done easily? I have a Dell laptop running Windows XP.

There's a bunch of programs you can download to find this info. Some good ones are cpu-z, & everest home edition. hope that helps!

If i add more RAM do I have to match the freequency of the RAM that is already in the computer?
