RAM questions

I currently have 2x512 sticks of DDR 400 SDRAM running dual channel with timings of 3-3-3-8. I wanted to upgrade to 2gb (2x1gb) of g.skill ram with timings of 2.5-3-3-6. Would the ram run together in dual channel pairs? Would it be faster to include the 2x512 or just take them out and use only the 2x1gb in dual channel?

Other specs, if it matters.

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice
GeForce 7800GT
MS-7093 Mobo

if you run all 4 sticks, they will have to be 3-3-3-8 timings, and 2t command. if you dont need 3gb, then just sell the 2x512.

I'd take out the 2x512... 2 GB is plenty and would be faster overall.
