Currently I have 2x 256Mb of Mushkin PC3500 Level 1 (@ 2-3-3). I've been thinking about upgrading to 1 Gb of RAM. I was wondering should I spend a lot of money and get another stick of 512Mb Mushkin Level 1 PC3500 (@ 2-3-3) or buy some cheap RAM with a CAS of say2.5 or 3? I'm just curious. I would like to have the matching RAM but it's soooo expensive right now. Thanks for the help!
 
You have a few options:

1. Wait until ram prices drop.
2. Get slower, cheaper ram if you're not running dual channel.
3. Get ram capable of the same clocks as your current if you are running dual channel. Can be used with no. 1.
