I bought this RAM last week: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820231122

I have this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/product/...x?item=N82E16813131142

According to the specs the RAM is exactly the same except for the amount. My problem is I can't get them to work with each other. I've tried placing them in the DIMM slots in every configuration possible but the computer won't post with both sets in the motherboard so I'm just using 4gb. I'm I out of luck to get 6gb?
 
Update the BIOS first thing. Often a newer BIOS will have improved memory management features and may fix your problems.
