Advice needed

I am currently using Vista 32-bit business and would like to go to 64-bit business (just for the heck of it and i heard 64-bit is more secure)

I can swap my 2GB DDR OCZ ram (2-3-2-5) with my wife's computer's ram (Generic ELPDIA chips on the RAM modules)(3-3-3-8) and take her 4GB DDR (4 x 1GB) and install it in my PC (X2-4800)

Since i do not play games, just OFFICE 2007 stuff and burn DVD every so often, should i make the switch to have more memory on my system, but slower memory then my OCZ

Thanks

Kevin

I don't think you're going to notice a difference with what you're doing. If your computer is running slow, you've got spyware/virus/misconfiguration issues, because any computer with 2GB+ of RAM is gonna run damn nicely when doing basic office tasks.

As said, 2GB is way more than necessary for non-gaming, even under Vista. Don't go to 64-bit just because, unless you've got a lot of patience and have already sourced all your drivers...

If you're going to Vista 64-bit, make sure you have every driver you'll need.
