RAM question

so, the mobo im getting, the A8N SLI Deluxe, takes PC3200 memory (400mhz)

So, if i got, lets say, PC3700 or even PC4000 (etc on up the chain), even though it would still only operate at 400mhz (what the mobo supports), when i go to overclock the CPU (and effectively, the FSB) will having higher memory allow me to clock the FSB that much higher before my RAM fails???

or will getting higher RAM like that not help one bit?

It will, but good quality PC3200 or PC3500 is good too.
OCZ's Value VX or Gold VX is some good stuff that overclocks very well with higher voltages.

The OCZ Value VX RAM is top-notch value RAM. However, ram speed really isn't very importantl; check out Zebo's memory matrix guide in the CPU/Overclocking section. Also, you don't need great RAM to raise the FSB a lot. The DFI Lanparty Ultra-D is the best overclocking board, since it can supply great voltages. Just run a RAM divider so you can run your RAM at a different speed than the FSB. I would go with the Lanparty Ultra-D and some OCZ Value VX RAM.

No, im sticking with the A8N SLI Deluxe, its the best motherboard for me, and i love Asus

but i did find the RAM im going to get, mostly because it has awesome timings, and a CAS of 2

Here it is

You will need 2 sticks of RAM for a s939 mobo.
