Well todaty i ordered 1gb of(2*512) patriot RAM. i have a sis651 mobo...i think. i will be filling all of the 3 slots and will have a total of 1.5gb. will the ram down clock at all with all slots full? oh btw old 512 is nanya pc-2100 will the new pc3200 downclock at all?

PC3200 will downclock to match the PC2100. It probably would have gone to PC2700 had they all been PC3200 modules.

Intel platform, dunno

Unless you actually use more than a gig I would stick with 2x512mb and sell the pc2100

im planing tp get a a64rig soon so i got that ram fornow becuase this comp is running really slow. im moving everything to a new case then all back to the old on once i get all my new parts. i might make it a server or somthing

I wasn't sure what platform the SiS651 was--if it's indeed a P4 dual channel chipset, you'll probably want to run in dual channel with the 2x512 PC3200 sticks (especially if your P4 is an 800FSB).
