RAM Question

On my system I have a stick of 512 PC2100 Ram and a stick of 512 PC3500 Ram. Is the highest speed i can go up PC2100 or does each stick of ram operate at its own speed?

PC Specs:

Mobo:MSI K8N Neo-FSR
Video Card: Nvidia Geforce FX 5700U
480 Watt Thermaltake PS
3 - 80gigs HD

It will all run at the speed of the slowest stick. You can try to overclock your PC2100 a bit.

I really don't know how much slower PC2100 is than PC3200 in real world apps, but it may be better to just use to one PC3500 stick (assuming you cannot overclock the 2100 much).
