RAM question that I could not find answered in the other topics

I am going to build a system using a 754 socket, for an a64 3000+

I understand that my mobo does't support Dual Channel RAM, but I saw an offer on outpost.com for 2x512mb sticks for only 119 after rebate...

So I know that my board won't be taking advantage of the dual channel, so isn't it worth the deal since buying a single 512mb RAM is around 75 dollars....whereas I can get 1gb of RAM from outpost for 119 after rebate.
Should I order it? outpost rebate corsair

Yeah, thats a great deal. Although, personally, I hate rebates.. Usually only get about half of rebate purchases back. BTW, have you ordered from Outpost before? Get it quick since the rebate only qualifies if its postmarked before the 12th
