RAM question: PC4300, PC5300, PC6400, for which one shall I go?

I gonna buy a new rig during the next week and doing some research. I wanna get a Athlon X2 3800 AM2-Socket platform. Now my question, is the performance difference noticeable between the different RAM speeds?

i would say get the maximum supported for better OCing and performance, which i think is either ddr2-667 or ddr2-800. if you go higher, i think the only benefit is more OCing.

I won't be overclocking because I'm aiming for a quiet computer.
