win 98 / XP

problem occurs only when i try to play game(CS & RTCW) i get some kind of graphic error and the music starts to break up...then i have to restart, but i get no problem on any other problems.
this happens only when i put both sticks of ram...i tried one stick on slot1 and slot2 both works fine
can someone help me to fix the problems
