When I load up WinWord or Excel basically anything in Windows Office I get this error after about 5 seconds.

WinWord.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0X606124e3" refrenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".

Do you guys think that if I reinstall Office or possibly reformat I could fix this. I hope its not my ram because I don't want to buy ram at the crazy prices they are at.

I highly doubt you have bad ram just because Office crashes. Reinstall Office or reformat if you want further peace of mind. I've had many Office crashes and it has never been my RAM.

I'd certainly try a clean install of Office (and if that fails - even attempt a re-install of Windows) before pointing the finger at the RAM. Has the problem only just started to happen?
