Ram problem in P5N-E-SLI

I purchased a new machine config being C2D e4500,ASUS p5N-E-SLI, ZION 1x2 800 Mhz ram,250Bg WD, 160 seagate hard disk,Zebronics antibiotic, XFX fidility 8600 GT.
i am facing stability problem in my mobo. How can i solve it.
 
Set the memory to "Unlinked" 800MHz.

Set the voltage to manufacturer's specifications MANUALLY, not Auto. (ex. 2.013V)

Set the timings to manufacturer's specifications MANUALLY, not Auto. (ex. 5-5-5-15 2T Command rate VERY IMPORTANT 2T).

If you still have problems after that - come back!

Get the CPU-Z and this will give you information from about the timings.

Try 5-5-5-15 2T for now.

You can try to increase the memory voltage to 1.9V, but not more than that!

If that doesn't work, put your RAM stick in the different colored memory slot (if it is the the yellow, try the black one and vice versa).

 
Is the system stable with only 1 stick of RAM in it? I had this issue with my first P5N32-E SLI Plus. One stick it was stable, with two, it wouldn't POST. Ends up it had a bad memory controller. The replacement has worked beautifully.
 
Could always be the possibility of that ram not being compatible with this board.

That's worst case of course.

Double check everything, connections and buy yourself a cheap power supply tester as well just incase.

I don't know if your PSU is new, but sometimes even fresh out of the box products are defective.

He said 1x2 800Mhz, so I assumed he had only one 2GB stick, but I think you're right.

He probably has 2 x 1GB modules...
 
Right Sir, this is what i am facing. On starting it only show 800 Mhz ram with the timing. it does not amount of ram install in it.
Previously i was using 512x2 transcend 667 Mhz ,which was quite smoot in running on same set of Dimm.
Where is the problem, RAm Or mobo??
 
Try to put them in different slots (either 2 yellow or 2 black slots).

Also, try to lower the frequency to 667MHz.

Running Windows Vista Ultimate x64 with SP1

Untill yesterday I had 2 Gb of RAM A-Dat Vitesta Extreme PC6400.
With auto settings on latency and voltage, I couldn't even install windows vista so I set the latencies manually - 4-4-4-12 2T with 2.1 V as it said on the box of the RAM
I managed to install windows, but every time I turned on my PC after a long shutdown ( more than 30mins) I would get a blue screen, and after that all was ok.
So yesterday I changed my RAM, got 2*2Gb Kingmax PC6400, the cheap ones, most common.. and with AUTO settings in BIOS i get RANDOM system freezes.

I tried now using UNLINKED and 1.9 volts and timing 5-5-5-15 (2T) I'll post the results soon, after I do a few tests to see if it doesn't freeze or anything else.

The RAM is @ 1.8 volts but this mobo has a minimum of 1.905, could this be a problem?
 
It works fine with this ram, just had to set it to 5-5-5-15 2T manually and the voltage 1.9 manually, the lowest and .. no crashes, no blue screens, no nothing..
