RAM poll 2002. How much ram do u have in your system?

LoL, 256 works fine for me! I can play CS and have Word and 11 IE windows running in the background (yes, I am a fan of CTRL + N) 🙂

My personal limit is 512mb. It's more than enough for my purposes and I'd rather spend the money else where. If I happen to have more, I move it into my other systems that need it.

512 MB here, and I'm happy with that 🙂 I'll upgrade only when I find my PC sluggish or the need for it (read as: when MS releases new bloatware and I have to upgrade to the latest apps) 😉

512 here. I hope I can get more when I do an upgrade, but we'll see if costs have gone down by that time.

256MB of RAM in my system. It's nowhere near enough, but rather than adding more PC/133 I'm going to try to wait out until I can afford to upgrade to something with DDR. BTW, if anybody is actually reading this far down in the thread, do you think DDR prices will go up a lot at the end of the year? Will they ever fall? 512MB of DDR SDRAM is like 3x to 4x as much as PC/133 SDR SDRAM. 🙁

Ditto here. I find 512 makes for less disk trashing and paging from 256.

That's because of the hype and anticipation for the upcoming Granite Bay chipset. 🙂

DDR prices may go up marginally for the holiday season. Another cause for the spurt was the success of the DDR P4 chipsets that have caused this demand rise. However I do see prices to fall in the future as companies increase production (Nanya for one has committed to increase it's production)
