ram or sound card

I've recently ordered some new parts and would like to upgrade my ram and sound card as well, but I dont know if i want to spend the money on both right now. If i go for the ram it will be a 2gb value dual channel. I'm still using onboard sound and have never had a sound card so I really dont know what kind of performance increase a card will give me. If i go for the sound card it will be an Audigy 2, not sure which model though. So what would better compliment my new system?

I'm trying to pinch pennies where i can. This is mostly just for gaming.

Unless you have really nice speakers, I'd go for the RAM... I have both 2 gb of ram and an audigy 2, an increase in fps from a sound card will be very small.

2gb of ram is very, very helpful for Battlefield 2.
