I'm trying to decide between the 2GB (1GB X 2) RAM kits from OCZ, Patriot, and G.Skill.

All of the RAM kits are at 2-3-2-5 timings and are DDR400 kits. At stock speeds, which would be my best bet and OCed, which would be the best? Are there any sites with reviews of these sets of RAM? I've also heard that OCZ's ram is 2.5-3-2-5 or something other than what's listed on their site... anyway, I'm pretty confused as to which way to go with this so I'd appreciate any input.

I've used the Patriot before in a buddy's rig, pretty darn good, heavey as folk too with the heatspreader. Haven't tried to OC it all, but runs 2-2-3-5 with no hiccups.

Cool... so it seems like that's a safe bet.

Any opinions or comparisons in regards to the other two, anyone?

I have run OCZ and Patriot RAM, and have prefered OCZ over Patriot. I have not tried overclocking any of them and have no experience with G.Skill.

I personally would go with OCZ.

That works out pretty nicely since it's only $218 for OCZ's RAM.

Get OCZ's PC4000 EB Platinum. They run 3-3-2 timings at 250 FSB and they usually overclock much higher than that also.
