Ram/MotherBoard compatability Question

i have this type of mother board: SiSoftware Sandra

Model : Intel Corporation 82845E Brookdale Host-Hub Interface Bridge (E0-step)
(i got that from SiSoftware Sandra, not sure if that is the name of it or not)

i was wondering if this type of ram would work in it:

Model: Samsung 512MB PC2100 266mhz ECC type memory

I was told that depending on the type of mobo i had i might not be able to run ECC ram.
