Ram Module Question.

I'm running a Dell 8400 with

PC3200 @400 DDR2 Ram 3-3-3-8 2 x 512mb sticks

Would I benefit by switching to DDR2 @667 ? 4-4-4-12 ? 2 x 512mb sticks

Not unless you're going to attempt to overclock it or drop the latencies at 400Mhz.

Getting faster memory will not help you. Dell locks down the BIOS settings and the system will just default to the rated speeds. Stick with DDR2 PC3200.
