first time builder, i am building a quiete powerful computer, but am not sure if the RAM adn MOBO will be compatible
the mobo i am plannig to buy is Epox 4G4A+
knowing its based on i845g chipset i am pretty sure it supports ddr333, although the manual or specs dont say it does
every were i read says it does "unofficially" so i guess it should work?
The RAM i plan to get is Corsair XMS ram, i read it is one of hte highest quality the specs of the 512 dimm is
Retail
512MB PC2700 (DDR333) CAS2 SDRAM w/ heat spreader
Implemented using 32M x 8DDR SDRAMs
100% tested at 166Mhz in high performance motherboards
has anyone used that for there Epox mobo?
also is it better to buy 2, 256 dimms or 1 512 dimm?
thanks for help
any input is a helpful
