Question Ram Kit for 7950X

Looks good, thanks! Hopefully, I can get the same results. Are boot times long? I heard 64GB has extra long boot times due to memory training.

I would maybe say 1-2 minutes after a CMOS reset or cold boot, but I can't say for sure as I haven't done that many times. Reboot is faster.

I just got it and ran it at 30-38-38-96 and so far so good. Are your Zentimings stable? Maybe I'll try to copy it 🙂

Yep, I've had no crashes, and I've run TestMem for several hours on official BIOS'es. I've had a hard time getting it to post with beta BIOS'es though, so I don't know what to attribute that to, might be I'm just on the edge of what the kit or AGESA or chipset can do, or those BIOS'es weren't fully stable. But no crashes or errors with official BIOS'es (0705, 0801 (might have been beta), 0805) on my Asus Hero and those timings. There's some settings that I think I can push more, but I'm not sure I'm gonna bother until a bit later down the line when there's been a few revisions.

I just dial the settings downwards until it doesn't post or gives me errors, then I clear CMOS and cut power and start over, so if you don't succeed at those timings, you might want to look into which of them make the most difference for performance. I frankly have no idea about that, I just figure lower = better for now 🙂
