I know when you plan to do some mild overclocking by raising fsb and keeping the ratio at 1:1, you need some really fast memory to do so. Everyone recommends pc4000 from the sounds of it. I have the corsair XMS series right now, but its pc3200. Would i be okay with mild overclocking?
 
The system rig section of anandtech is down, so can't tell what ur trying to do. Unless your cpu already runs at FSB 200/400 ur not gonna be OC'ing ur ram anyway.

If ur cpu/mobo are rated for 200/400 FSB (which would mean they are either underclocked or running a divider) then yes, pc3200 can be OC'd higher than 200/400. May need vdimm (voltage to ram) increase to be stable.
