I am looking to buy RAM for an Elite Group (ECS) K75SA mobo but I can?t find any documentation on what type of RAM I need -even on Crucial?s selection pages.

Do I need unbufered? Registered? ECC? Non-parity? Or does it matter?

I doubt that the ECS board actively supports ECC ram.
It only has two SDRAM and DDR-RAM slots, so buffered is also a waste.

Just get your basic PC-133 SDRAM or PC2100 DDR, unbuffered and non-ECC. Buffered and ECC will work, but will be wasted...

Helps?

pretty much ANY unbuffered (non-ecc) DDR and SDR dimms will work in it...

including pc2100/2400/2700, pc66/100/133/150

i've noticed the board isn't picky at all w/ brand and density of chips.

i've tried:

amzor
spektek
micron
infineon
and others i can't recall
