RAM for Acer Aspire 5610z-2013 laptop?

1) Crucial lists the 5610z here, but NewEgg's Memory Finder doesn't list the "Z". It lists the 5610-2018... is that "close enough"?

The laptop came with 1 GB. The specs say 4 GB max, but many posts on the 'Net say it's really a 2 GB limit.

2) Without taking it apart, is it possible to know if my laptop came with one 1 GB stick or two 512MB sticks?

1. yes, close enough....you need DDR2 SoDimms
2. yes, cpu-z can tell you, but usually only a single bolt/cover on the bottom to access ram...very easy
3. im selling 2x1gb NEW if interested...make an offer 🙂
