Ive got a M2N-E (yeah I know), right now I've got a stick of samsung ram, its 1gb. A few weeks ago I bought another stick of kingston 1gb ram, and all it caused was CTD's (even though I had MUCH better performance).

I want to format soon, A new mod has come out and I want to start fresh. I need 2gb of ram to run it smoothly. Im not into OC'ing, I just want 2gb of DDR2 that will work with my computer.

The only problem is I need to be able to find it in Toronto. I cant get that samsung stick anymore.

Just get any 2x1GB PC2-6400 kit from Corsair, OCZ, GSkill and you won't go wrong.

OCZ shouldn't cause a problem unless it was due to voltage. That can happen sometimes on some boards. To get round it you boot using the old 1.8V Samsung, enter the BIOS and increase the voltage for the memory to OCZ/Corsair/GSkill/Crucial requirement. It could be 1.9V to 2.3V dependant on the model. Save the settings, exit the BIOS, switch off and unplug PSU. Put in the new sticks and everything should work fine.
