RAM drive on win2k?

Check out

(this is a tip for Windows NT, but may still work for w2000)

vramdir is not technically a Ram-drive, it is a utility that
tries to speed the performance of the system TEMP space
by remapping it to memory. I don't think it was written to
ask for proper permissions to bypass the OS to do its trick,
which is why it probably won't work in NT or w2k.

There is software that claims to create RAM drives for NT/2000. I posted it a LONG time ago for the fact that it claimed to work with 2000. So, you'll probably want to search the archives for "ram drive."

In that thread, I don't think anyone came up with a great idea (that would work) for using RAM drives these days.
