RAM doesn't fit, wtf?

I have an A8N-SLI Deluxe Motherboard and Corsair valueselect ram VS1GB400C3. For some reason the ram only goes into the slot about halfway, and then won't go in any further.

I tried to move the side clips to make sure that wasn't what was causing the resistance, but it didn't work.

I double checked to make sure that the pin config was correct, and it is.

Anyone have an idea on this?
