Ram Disk Quest: Start WinME from memory!

I have a T-Bird 1.4ghz and 1.5gigs of high perf memory. I want to make a 1 gig ram disk and every time the computer boots, place an image into the new ramdisk (minimal install of WinME and HalfLife: CounterStrike) and start windows from there.
Now ive got the whole 'make the ramdisk and place the image' part in, but how do i get windows to start without rebooting? If i reboot, wont I lose whatever is in the memory, thus WinME on the ramdisk?
Any answers, comments, or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Hibernate, maybe?

It essentially dumps all RAM to disk. May not be a great idea with 1.5Gb of RAM.

Search google for a program called RamDisk98 (might be RamDiskME by now) or RamDiskNT (same folks make it ... jloije or something. You find one and you should find the other). I know that they restore the contects of a RAM disk upon boot-up, but I don't know about an entire OS.
