I have been looking at crucial.com to find some Ram for my machine. I have the ABIT KT7 Raid Motherboard, so I just followed their links to the modules from there. I am lost what is the difference between CL-2 and CL-3? I was going to but two 256 meg 133hz ram chips which ones would everyone recommend?

Thanks

It's all to do with Cas Latency. This is a timing by which the module can access the memory locations, generally the lower the Cas Latency the better(faster).

CL-2 memory will be more expensive than CL-3 memory.

I'd always go for the CL-2 memory.

Compuwiz1 in For/Sale has had some awesome ram for sale the past few weeks. Infineon 256MB Cas2 for about $111-$120 each. They have run as high as 155mhz!!! Here is the link. He puts it up every Friday or so and runs it through the weekend. Check over there this weekend, he will probably have the same deal!!
