RAM CONFIG NEO4 Diamond

Have a Neo4 Diamond Mobo and have had problems reading all 4 slots

started with

1x512 pc2700 333 ddr
and 2x256mb pc 2700

worked with old mobo but only read 764mb

ordered another 128 thinking that they may work only in pairs....no luck

Crucial advised i buy another 512 piece

Now i have

2x512
2x256

Only reads 1gb and not in dual.....MSI cant help....can anyone???????
