RAM Compatibility with motherboard

The DDR in your ebay link is "high density".
Intel chipsets used to have problems with memory other than "low density".

One easy, but not always true guage was that high density modules were cheaper than low density.

I don't have Intel, I have AMD..? so would it be a good buy? or not....

Dear Apoc,

I think not....the higher density modules are not as good as the higher quality normal density modules.

There are a lot of excellent quality 1GB DDR400 modules with lifetime warranties: would recommend choosing from a quality name brand like Crucial, Kingston, Corsair; I have also had good luck with PQI and Patriot:

1. In my first post I state that you have a VIA chipset on your AMD MB.
2. In your 3rd post you state... "High density?... im new to all this"
I was simply giving you a little background about high & low density memory.
3. If you're not OCing your PC, the ebay stuff should be fine.
